Florida CFO Blaise Ingoglia, endorsed by the Florida Chamber of Commerce in the 2026 CFO race

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. — The Florida Chamber of Commerce has endorsed Chief Financial Officer Blaise Ingoglia for a full term, adding the support of one of the state’s most prominent business organizations to the Republican incumbent’s 2026 campaign.

Florida Chamber President and CEO Mark Wilson said the organization is “all in” for Ingoglia as he seeks to remain on the Florida Cabinet.

The endorsement adds the Florida Chamber of Commerce to the growing list of organizations backing Blaise Ingoglia in the 2026 Florida Chief Financial Officer election.

“The Florida Chamber of Commerce is ‘all in’ for Blaise Ingoglia to continue serving as Florida’s Chief Financial Officer,” Wilson said.

Wilson pointed to Ingoglia’s record in the Florida Legislature and his first year as CFO, highlighting efforts involving litigation costs, fraud and government spending.

“Both as a legislator and as Florida’s CFO for the past year, Blaise has fought side by side with the Florida Chamber of Commerce to help stomp out the frivolous lawsuits, fraud and waste that drive up costs and impact affordability for Florida families and local businesses,” Wilson said.

The Chamber also cited Florida’s debt position and said it expects to continue working with Ingoglia on the Florida Cabinet.

Chamber points to Ingoglia’s legislative record

Before joining the Cabinet, Ingoglia served eight years in the Florida House and three years in the Florida Senate.

The Florida Chamber said Ingoglia consistently received an “A” on its annual Legislative Report Card during his time in the Legislature.

The Chamber uses its legislative scorecard to evaluate lawmakers on votes it considers important to Florida’s business climate and economic competitiveness.

Gov. Ron DeSantis appointed Ingoglia chief financial officer in July 2025 after Jimmy Patronis left the Cabinet post to pursue a seat in Congress.

Ingoglia is now seeking election to a full term as CFO in the 2026 election.

Ingoglia welcomes Florida Chamber endorsement

Ingoglia said the Chamber’s support aligns with his priorities on economic growth, job creation and Florida’s competitiveness.

“I’m honored to receive the endorsement of the Florida Chamber of Commerce and the local business leaders from every sector of our economy and corner of our state they represent,” Ingoglia said.

“The Florida Chamber’s commitment to strengthening Florida’s economy, supporting job creators, and advancing the solutions that keep our state competitive aligns with my priorities.”

The Chamber said its political operations team will work to support Ingoglia’s campaign.

The organization said the team has more than 100 years of combined campaign experience.

Ingoglia enters 2026 race with financial advantage

The endorsement adds to Ingoglia’s political advantages as the 2026 CFO race moves toward the Aug. 18 primary.

The Florida Pundit previously reported that Ingoglia had built a significant fundraising lead in the CFO contest, with roughly $6.5 million available across his campaign and associated political committee at the time of that reporting.

Ingoglia has also received support from Republican elected officials.

Incoming Florida legislative leaders Jim Boyd and Sam Garrison endorsed Ingoglia earlier this month as part of a slate of Republican Cabinet candidates that also included Attorney General James Uthmeier and Agriculture Commissioner Wilton Simpson.

U.S. Rep. Laurel Lee has also endorsed Ingoglia‘s campaign for a full term.

CFO race heads toward August primary

Florida’s primary election is scheduled for Aug. 18, with the general election set for Nov. 3. The Florida Division of Elections maintains the state’s candidate listings for the CFO contest.

The Florida Chamber endorsement gives Ingoglia additional organizational support as candidates compete for their party nominations and position themselves for the November election.

For Ingoglia, the Chamber’s backing also reinforces a central theme of his campaign: connecting his work on fraud, government spending and economic policy with broader arguments about affordability and Florida’s business climate.
