Florida Chief Financial Officer Blaise Ingoglia builds a substantial fundraising advantage in the 2026 election cycle.

Florida Chief Financial Officer Blaise Ingoglia is widening his financial lead in the 2026 election cycle, building a campaign war chest that far exceeds the resources available to his Republican and Democratic opponents.

New campaign finance reports covering the first 12 days of June show Ingoglia raising $112,500 through his Friends of Blaise Ingoglia political committee and another $17,280 through his campaign account, reinforcing his position as the dominant fundraiser in the race.

The Spring Hill Republican, who was appointed Chief Financial Officer by Gov. Ron DeSantis last year, now has approximately $6.5 million available across his campaign account, Friends of Blaise Ingoglia committee, and the largely inactive Government Gone Wild political action committee.

The latest fundraising reports suggest Ingoglia is entering the summer campaign season with a substantial advantage over the rest of the field.

Major Donors Fuel Ingoglia’s Campaign

The largest contribution reported during the period came from U.S. Sugar, which donated $50,000 to Friends of Blaise Ingoglia on June 3.

Value Underwriters II added another $25,000 contribution, helping boost the committee’s already sizable financial reserves.

The fundraising totals further cement Ingoglia’s status as one of Florida’s strongest statewide fundraisers heading into the 2026 election cycle.

Challengers Face Steep Financial Hurdles

Republican challenger Frank Collige, a former state investigator, reported just over $2,000 cash on hand after raising only $125 during the reporting period.

Collige also paid an $8,399 qualifying fee, consuming a significant portion of the $15,520 he has raised throughout the campaign.

On the Democratic side, former state Sen. Annette Taddeo and candidate Earle Ford are competing for their party’s nomination.

Ford reported less than $1,000 available after loaning his campaign $8,000 and paying qualifying expenses.

Taddeo posted stronger numbers than her Democratic rival, raising $22,560 and contributing a $6,000 personal loan to her campaign shortly after entering the race. She ended the reporting period with slightly more than $19,000 cash on hand.

Even so, neither Democrat currently possesses the resources necessary to compete financially with Ingoglia’s statewide operation.

Early Advantage Could Shape Race

Campaign fundraising is often viewed as an indicator of organizational strength, allowing candidates to expand voter outreach, increase advertising, and build campaign infrastructure well before ballots are cast.

While Florida’s Governor’s race has attracted much of the political spotlight, the CFO contest remains one of the state’s most important Cabinet races.

The office oversees state finances, auditing functions, fraud investigations, insurance-related responsibilities, and fiscal accountability programs affecting millions of Floridians.

With more than $6 million available and months remaining before voters head to the polls, Ingoglia enters the next phase of the campaign with a commanding financial edge that challengers will need to overcome.
